ThrowLab is a disc golf analysis app for iPhone. This policy explains what the app accesses, why it needs that access, and where your information goes. The short version: throw analysis runs on your iPhone. Your videos are not uploaded for analysis, and no ThrowLab account is required.

Information we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store personal information on ThrowLab servers. ThrowLab has no user accounts, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs.

Camera and video

ThrowLab may request camera access so you can record a throw. Recorded video is stored locally and analyzed on the device with Apple’s Vision framework. ThrowLab does not upload or transmit your video.

Photo library

ThrowLab requests photo-library access so you can select an existing slow-motion throw video. Only the video you choose is read. The app does not scan or upload your photo library.

Motion data

The app may read device-motion data during capture to support analysis. This information is used locally and is not transmitted to ThrowLab.

Data stored on your device

Deleting the app removes its locally stored data. ThrowLab cannot recover information that was never sent to a server.

Disc catalog lookup

When you search for a disc to add to your bag, ThrowLab may request matching public disc information from a catalog service. This lookup uses the disc name you type. Your throw videos and analysis results are not included.

Subscriptions and payments

Apple processes ThrowLab Pro subscriptions through the App Store. ThrowLab does not receive your card number or billing address. Apple’s handling of purchases is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Tracking

ThrowLab does not track you across apps or websites, sell personal information, or share information with data brokers or advertisers.

Children

ThrowLab does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no account system, children should use it only with appropriate supervision during physical activity.

Your choices

You control the videos you select and the information stored in the app. You can delete saved items in ThrowLab or delete the app to remove its local data. There is no ThrowLab account or server-side profile to delete.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new revision date.
